Gautami Desai

With a MBA in Finance (NMIMS) and BE (Electronics) from Bombay University, Gautami has over 18 years of experience in investment, having managed Rs. 3500 crores of equity portfolio as a fund manager in Unit Trust of India. She was an advisor to Ruane Cunniff & Goldfarb, a reputed New York-based fund house, which manages $ 28bn AUM in equities. Acacia Partners, their global fund advised by Gautami had $2 bn invested in India till recently. She received an award from LIPPER for best performing banking fund. She is now an entrepreneur in the fields of Asset Management and School education.
